El mes de julio depara una nueva parada en el Italia Polo Challenge. Tras el torneo de polo en la arena nocturno disputado en la capital italiana, Roma, ahora la acción se traslada al norte de la isla de Cerdeña para la realización del THE ITALIA POLO CHALLENGE PORTOCERVO – BAYLANDI CUP. Se disputará del 21 al 24 de julio y ya se conocen las formaciones y el fixture para este evento sobre la arena, con tres jugadores por equipo y polistas de múltiples nacionalidades (5 en total), entre ellos las promesas del polo italiano.
Auspicia el torneo la Federazione Italiana Sport Equistri (FISE) y apoya la Municipalidad de Arzachena. Se espera que muchos seguidores y aficionados asistan al torneo de tres días que tendrá dos partidos por jornada (comenzarán al atardecer). FIVE FLAGS ARE ALREADY FLYING HIGH ON THE POLES OF THE ITALIA POLO CHALLENGE PORTOCERVO–BAYLANDI CUP As teams begin to register the sporting challenges of the first edition of Italia Polo Challenge Porto Cervo–Baylandi Cup (Wednesday July 21st - Saturday July 24th) are quickly starting to take shape. This greatly looked forward to international event, which by using the spectacular Arena Polo format is returning the most ancient of equestrian disciplines to the Costa Smeralda after a decade during which no matches have been played, will be hosted in the Campo Sportivo Andrea Corba di Abbiadori just slightly inland of Porto Cervo. The four teams playing have already announced the names of the three players they are fielding, confirming the participation of five nations; Switzerland, Great Britain, Germany, Argentina and Italy (Francesco Scardaccione, Therance Cusmano and Stefano Giansanti). Many supporters and fans are expected to attend the Italian Polo Challenge three-day tournament with two matches played on each day and this time organised in partnership between the Italian Equestrian Sports Federation and the Municipality of Arzachena. The matches will be played last in the afternoon with the first match starting just before the sun sets (about 8 pm) and many spectators are expected. The hospitality village created around the polo field with its exhibiting spaces and restaurant offer excellent visibility and a sophisticated welcome for fans and newcomers alike, with functional structures made by Eurostand, already used in Cortina d’Ampezzo for the Italia Polo Challenge on Snow the week after the World Skiing Championships in which Eurostand played such an important role.
